NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – An MTA worker was sucker-punched in the face in an unprovoked attack at a Bronx subway station, police said Wednesday as they released footage of a suspect.
Video shows the victim, a 55-year-old man, sweeping at the Cypress Avenue 6-line station at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 8 moments before he was assaulted.
A man came up and punched him in the face for no apparent reason and then fled the station, police said.

The victim suffered a laceration to his face. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was listed in stable condition.
