NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- As drone sightings over the skies of New Jersey continue to mount -- angering both residents and lawmakers, who are in the dark about the flying objects' origins -- similar sightings are now beginning to crop up in New York City.
Multiple drones on Thursday morning were seen flying over the South Bronx neighborhood of Mt. Eden -- in particular, they were spotted over the intersection of Clarke Place West and Jerome Avenue, according to CBS News.
Officers from 44th Precinct responded to calls from worried residents, and arrived at the intersection to see multiple drones flying overhead, police said. The drones soon disappeared.
The drones' origins are unknown.
