
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Commuters headed home Tuesday afternoon will have to plan accordingly as delays and service suspension remain in place following a mass shooting on an N train in Brooklyn.

There is no D, N or R service in parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. W and B train service is suspended.
D train service updates:
No D trains between Broadway-Lafayette Street and 9 Avenue in both directions.
The D train is running in two sections—between Norwood 205th Street and Broadway-Lafayette Street and the line to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
Shuttle service is limited but available between 9 Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
N train service updates:
The N train is suspended between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and 8 Avenue in both directions.
The N train will be running in two sections—between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and Canal Street making local stops then via the R line to/from and from DeKalb Avenue and then express via the Q line to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
Extremely limited shuttle service will be available between 8th Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
R train service updates:
R trains are also running in two sections—between Forest Hills-71 Avenue and Whitehall Street-South Ferry
Limited shuttle train service between 59 Street and Bay Ridge-95th Street will be available.
N trains are serving R train stations between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
The Q train is running regularly but with delays.
The MTA is asking customers to consider taking the B1, B9, B11, B35, B37, B63, or B103 buses as an alternative to the impacted subway lines.
For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, commuters can take the 2,3,4,5,A,C, or F trains.
The MTA recommends checking the status of your subway or bus line before heading out.
Fees for the NYC Ferry service on the South Brooklyn route are waived for the rest of the day and additional service will be added for the evening commute.
