NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A news helicopter made an “emergency landing” on the baseball field of a Queens high school on Thursday morning, officials said.

Video from the scene shows the WABC-TV chopper on the field at Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood.

“No injuries were reported, and the school is currently out of session,” NYC Emergency Management posted on X.

The FDNY said it received a call about the emergency landing shortly after 9:30 a.m.

It wasn’t immediately clear what issue the aircraft had, but officials said a helicopter mechanic was on site.

The NYPD's Emergency Services Unit and the Federal Aviation Administration also responded to the scene.
