MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a New Jersey Walmart employee on Wednesday for stealing almost $200,000 from the bank deposits of the store she worked at, according to the Warren County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors charged Megan Tuttle, a 39-year-old from Mendham, with second-degree theft for allegedly stealing $198,899 from the Mansfield Township store.
Security footage provided by her employer indicated Tuttle stole the money across 15 incidents, according to prosecutors.
The corporation contacted the police when higher-ups noticed large sums of money were missing.
She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
