NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A city Department of Transportation employee faces rape and child sex abuse charges after police arrested him Friday.
Jose Lozano, 50, was charged with rape, two counts of criminal sex act with a victim under 13, two counts of sex abuse of a victim under 13, and two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17.
Police said Lozano is a bricklayer for the Department of Transportation.
He was off-duty when he was arrested in the Bronx around 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to police.
