NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Equinox members in New York City will soon be able to pay with cryptocurrency, according to a report from the New York Post.
The luxury gym is partnering with BitPay, a major bitcoin, and crypto payment service to become the first in the city to accept the digital currency from its members the report added.

Equinox, which costs upwards of $250 per month, is hardly the first luxury brand to start allowing customers to pay in cryptocurrency.
The list of cryptocurrencies that will be accepted remains unclear. The luxury gym, which has 36 locations in the NYC area is set to make an official announcement later today.
