NYCHA employee charged after leaving multi-car crash in Brooklyn: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A NYCHA employee was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly leaving the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in Brooklyn, according to officials.

Tanisha Simpson, 40, was charged with reckless endangerment, assault and leaving the scene of a collision causing injury and property damage.

The crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. in Bedford Stuyvesant, but it is unclear where.

Simpson struck three cars, and a pregnant woman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles went into labor after the crash, PIX11 reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
