NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a suspect following a groping attack that happened early Sunday morning in Central Park.
At around 3 a.m., a 41-year-old woman was walking near 59th Street and West Drive when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her buttocks and then fled the area, officials said.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. She is expected to recover physically.
Authorities describe the suspect as a man between 25 and 30 years old with a medium build, who was wearing a white jersey and black shorts at the time of the attack.
No arrests have been made, and thew investigation is ongoing.
