NYPD hunts SoHo stabber who attacked man outside subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for the assailant behind a brutal stabbing outside a SoHo subway station on Thursday afternoon that sent a man to the hospital, police said.

The attack happened outside the Prince Street subway station at about 12:10 p.m.

A verbal dispute broke out between the victim and suspect, which escalated when the attacker stabbed the 38-year-old man twice, once in the neck and again in the wrist.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, authorities said.

There has been no arrest and the investigation is ongoing.
