NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos of a 55-year-old man on Wednesday identified as a suspect in the June killing of a Staten Island woman found fatally shot inside a Queens home.
The suspect, identified as Mark Washington is being sought in the death of 38-year-old Angelique Apostol, according to the NYPD.
At approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, officers responded to a 911 call at 113-15 205th St. in St. Albans.
Upon arrival, police found Apostol, a Staten Island resident, unconscious and unresponsive. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.

Following an autopsy, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner officially ruled the death a homicide on June 25.
