VIDEO: NYPD investigate Harlem shooting incident, gunmen sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Monday released surveillance footage of a shooting incident that occurred in Harlem over the weekend.

On March 27, just after 6 a.m., police received a 911 call for a firearm discharge
in the rear of 2840 8th Avenue, according to officials.


Upon arrival, officials discovered several shell casings from two separate firearms.

An investigation determined that two unknown male individuals had exchanged gunfire at each other from across the street.

The two individuals were observed on surveillance video leaving fleeing the scene on foot in opposite directions.

No injuries were reported in this incident.

Police released footage of one of the two individuals involved in the shooting, taken during the incident.

He is described as a male, 20-30 years in age.
