NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating an incident in which a man defecated on a Pride flag as a hate crime, the department announced Saturday.
The man pooped on a Pride flag outside an apartment building on East 95th Street near Third Avenue on the Upper East Side around 10 a.m. on April 15, officials said.
He proceeded to wipe his rear end with the flag before fleeing on foot.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
