NYPD searching for man who stabbed 2 people before robbing them in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man who stabbed two people in separate incidents before stealing cash from them in the Bronx.

The first attack took place on June 17 around 4:45 p.m. on E 149th Street near St. Anne’s Avenue in Woodstock.

The robber stabbed a 44-year-old man sitting in front of an abandoned building in the shoulder, torso and chest.

He then took $300 from his pocket before fleeing on foot.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

The suspect attacked another man just three days later nearby.

He stabbed a 45-year-old man in the chest and shoulder around 2:40 p.m. on Bergen Avenue near Westchester Avenue, also in Woodstock.

He then took $5 from the man before fleeing on foot.

Emergency responders brought this victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
