NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An NYPD officer was found dead of an apparent suicide inside of his Queens home Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Further details were not immediately available. The Daily News reported that the officer joined the force in 2003 and lived on 74th Street in Glendale, Queens.
Police discovered the man while perfoming a wellness check at his residence after his sister had called the police saying she had not heard from him since Sunday, the Daily News reported.
