NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man struck an NYPD officer with a Mercedes-Benz as police attempted to stop his vehicle in Queens over the weekend, police said Monday as they released images of the suspect.
Two officers tried to pull over the white Mercedes at 37th Avenue and 22nd Street in Long Island City around 12:20 p.m. Saturday when the driver struck one of the officers, according to police.
The officer suffered injuries to his right arm and leg, police said.
The injured cop was transported to Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
