NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880 NEWS) – Several people including two officers were injured during a shooting in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports.
Police confirmed with 1010WINS that there was a shooting involving an officer.
Police said officers were responding to a job inside of 1969 Bergen Street at around 3:30 p.m.
According to ABC7, the officers were responding to a domestic call inside of the second-floor apartment, Apartment 2B.
A total of six people were injured and all were transported to Kings County Hospital, according to the FDNY.
One officer was shot in the hand and the other in the leg, according to ABC7.
One of the officers that was injured was taken to Kings County Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
A suspect was taken into custody.
The cause of what led to the shooting is currently unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
