NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD continued an intensive search Wednesday for two New York City boys who've been missing since last week.

Garrett Warren, 13, and Alfa Barrie, 11, were last seen together at Anas Fish Market at Lenox Avenue and W. 145th Street in Harlem on Friday night.

Warren was later seen outside of his home on W. 143rd Street in Harlem around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to police. Neither boy has been seen since then.

The boys attend different schools and were reported missing at different times, but because they're friends, police believe they are likely together.

The NYPD has been posting missing flyers of the boys around Harlem. The department's Harbor Unit has also been searching the Harlem River.

It's unclear if the boys are in any danger, but the NYPD said it's not taking any chances with kids this young.

“Because of their age, we’re very concerned,” Deputy Chief Brian Gill said at a press conference Tuesday. “We’re going to search by land, air and sea.”

Barrie older sister, Fatima Diallo, said he usually walks home from school with another sister, but on Friday he never returned home. "This has never happened before, this is something that is shocking to everyone," Diallo said.

Warren, of Harlem, is 6 feet tall and weighs 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, black jeans, and blue and black Jordan sneakers.

Barrie, of the Bronx, is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy sweater with a "Democracy Prep Harlem Middle School" logo, gray pants and gray sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
