
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday have identified the man whose body was pulled from the East River in Lower Manhattan last month as they continue to search for information.
On Nov. 9, officials responded to a 911 call of a man spotted in the East River near South Street in the Financial District.
Harbor unit officials pulled out his body and declared him dead on the scene. He was identified by police as 65-year-old James Simmons of Brooklyn.
