NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police released a photo on Monday of a suspect sought after he allegedly punched a stranger while yelling anti-white remarks just blocks from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx earlier this month.
The attack happened on April 5, at around 1 p.m. when a 24-year-old man was walking on 156th Street and Grand Concourse in the Concourse Village section when an unidentified man walked up to him and punched him in the face while yelling anti-white remarks, police said.
"I don't f*** with white motherf***ers," the suspect said, according to the Daily News before attacking the victim.
The unknown individual then fled southbound on foot.
The victim was treated by EMS on scene for pain to the face and subsequently released.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
The person sought is 40 years old, 6'2", with a medium complexion and heavy build, police said. He was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black sweatpants, a blue and grey shirt, and black sneakers.
