NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released body-cam footage of a water rescue of a woman trapped under a Brooklyn pier Tuesday.
At about 7:16 a.m., the NYPD's Harbor Unit responded to calls for help at Erie Basin ear Beard Street in Red Hook.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 20-year-old woman "trapped under the pier and sprang into action," the NYPD tweeted.
"Officers safely rescued the female and brought her to shore," the NYPD said in a release.
EMS transported the woman to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition.
It is unclear how the woman became stuck.
