NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Authorities are investigating after an NYPD car crashed into two vehicles at a Brooklyn intersection Wednesday morning.
According to FDNY officials, the incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue S and Coney Island Avenue in the Homecrest neighborhood.
Two people were injured and one victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries, police said.

It is currently unknown if victims were inside the vehicles at the time of the collision.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
