Cops said the agent was issuing a parking summons around 11:30 a.m. to a 2001 Ford van on Glenwood Road near Nostrand Avenue.

The two men inside the car exited and engaged in a verbal dispute before physically assaulting the agent.

According to police, one of the men then got back into a dark-colored Infiniti and mowed the agent down.

The driver in the Infiniti then fled westbound as the Ford fled east.

The agent, who was found by police lying in the middle of the road with injuries throughout his body, was taken to Maimonides Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
