NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD police officer was arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly driving drunk and refusing a breathalyzer in Queens.
Bisham Ramroop, 37, was driving in the confines of the 106th Precinct in South Central Queens when he was pulled over around 2:49 a.m., police said.
Ramroop faces charged for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Ability Impaired and penalties for refusing a breathalyzer, according to police.
Ramroop joined the NYPD in 2012 and works as an officer out of Bushwick's 83 Precinct, city data show. He has had no misconduct complaints on his record.
