NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Two NYPD transit officers rescued a man who fell onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station over the weekend, just as a train was about to enter the station.

Body cameras captured the officers help the man who had fallen onto the tracks at the Nostrand Avenue station in Bedford–Stuyvesant on Saturday and was lying unconscious.


After jumping onto the tracks, the officers used their flashlights to to a southbound A train to not enter the station.

The officers were able to maneuvered through two third-rails and lift to the man onto the platform.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital for treatment.
