NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Mayor Eric Adams does not have a fan in author Fran Leibowitz.

The 71-year-old personality told Page Six her feelings about the mayor during the Broadway opening of “Leopoldstadt” on Sunday night.

“It would be good if we had a good mayor but we don’t,” Leibowitz told the outlet. “I hated [previous mayor Bill] de Blasio but Eric Adams I saw coming. I said to my friends, ‘He’s going to make you long for de Blasio, [and] he was terrible."

Though the New York native agrees that the city is experiencing a scary time when it comes to crime, she said it’s nothing like the ‘70s when crime was “on another planet.”

Despite the city’s worry over crime, Lebowitz told Page Six she isn’t deterred from taking the subway and is the only one of her friends who does.

“I’m alone out of all of my friends. They say, ‘Aren’t you afraid?’” she said while adding that she does “plaster myself against the wall till the train comes because that is more my fear, being thrown on the track.”
