Lancaster, NY (WBEN) - Western New York is rallying to help a woman and four children who were displaced after a weekend house fire on School Street in Lancaster.

The family's home is considered a total loss after the Saturday fire destroyed everything inside. One of the children has severe autism who needs sensory calming devices which were lost in the fire.

Just days later though, a GoFundMe page set up by friends and family has raised over $19,000 to help. You can find that page HERE.

There will also be a benefit for the family today from 2-4pm at Elite Dance Company at 5360 Genesee Street in Bowmansville, where people will be collecting donations of clothing and toiletries and more. Family members say they are in need of sizes: Boys XXL, Men's XL, Girls 10, Girls 12/14, and Women's XL.
