Over $5K in sneakers, perfumes stolen from Queens Macy’s and Target stores, suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Tuesday released photos of suspects wanted for taking thousands of dollars' worth of sneakers and perfume in a string of robberies at Queens Macy's and Target stores this month.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, the suspects entered a Target located at 40-24 College Point Blvd. in Flushing and took 16 pairs of sneakers valued at approximately $1,000 before fleeing the location on foot.

Days later, at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, the suspects entered the Macy’s located at 136-50 Roosevelt Ave. in Flushing and made off with 11 bottles of perfume then fled the scene on foot, officials said. The merchandise was valued at about $2,700.

The same Macy’s location was targeted a second time on Thursday, Feb. 12, at approximately 5:15 p.m. According to police, the suspects removed another 11 bottles of perfume, this time valued at approximately $1,600, before escaping on foot.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
