NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The owner of the famed Gottlieb's deli in Williamsburg died Thursday, hours before Donald Trump was scheduled to make a campaign stop there.

Trump had planned to visit the long-running kosher eatery before the death of R' Shulem Yosef Gottlieb.

Gottlieb, 75, died of a heart attack Thursday, Williamsburg 365 reported.

Sources tell 1010 WINS that the event with Trump will probably be canceled out of respect for his family.

Reports emerged earlier this week that Trump would make a trip to Gottlieb's on Thursday, a day after his big rally at the Nassau Coliseum. The former president visited the cryptocurrency-themed bar PubKey in the West Village before the rally on Long Island.
