NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A mother and daughter were found dead inside their Park Slope apartment Saturday night following what appears to be a fatal domestic dispute, according to officials.
At approximately 7:56 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call reporting an assault inside an apartment building at 386 2nd St.
Upon entering the residence, responding officers discovered 58-year-old Olga Bracero unconscious and unresponsive. She had sustained multiple stab wounds across her body. EMS responded to the scene, where Bracero was pronounced deceased.
A search of the location led officers to a second victim, identified as Bracero’s 23-year-old daughter, Kayla Wilson. Wilson was also found unconscious with multiple stab wounds to her body and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
The NYPD has not yet officially confirmed the exact sequence of events, but preliminary reports suggest that the incident was a domestic altercation between the two women. Reports indicate that Wilson allegedly stabbed her mother before succumbing to self-inflicted stab wounds.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the case has been turned over to the City Medical Examiner to officially determine the cause and manner of death for both women.
