NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A patient is dead following an ambulance crash early Sunday morning in Hell's Kitchen, authorities said.
According to officials, a man had suffered a medical episode and was being taken to the hospital in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
, with its lights and sirens on when the truck was broadsided by a Dodge Durango, at the corner of 10th Avenue and 42nd Street.
Another ambulance rushed the man to Mount Sinai West, where he died.
Two EMTs and the other driver suffered minor injuries, police said.
