NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A dump truck driver struck and killed a bicyclist on West 34th Street in Midtown on Monday morning and then left the scene, police said.
The victim was hit by the truck shortly before 11 a.m. between Broadway and Seventh Avenue. Both the cyclist and driver were headed westbound at the time, police said.
EMS pronounced the person dead at the scene, which is between Macy's Herald Square and Penn Station.
No arrests have been reported. The NYPD was on the scene investigating.
