NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A person was slashed by a man during an argument on a Midtown subway platform early Monday, police said.
Officials said around midnight, the victim got into an argument with a man on the F train platform at the 34th Street-Herald Square station, near Sixth Avenue.
Authorities then said the attacker suddenly slashed the victim in the neck with a sharp object.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.
The attacker fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
