NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – New York City’s honorary dog mayor, Sally Long Dog, paid a visit to City Hall on Thursday, where she met Mayor Eric Adams and other officials.

Sally earned her title last November through an online vote, making her not only a dog celebrity but also the very first female dog mayor in New York City.
The day began with Sally participating in a meet-and-greet session with City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and members of the Council's Women's Caucus.

Following her meeting with the council members, Sally met Adams.
Sally's visit to City Hall comes with October's National Pet Wellness Month, a time dedicated to promoting the well-being of pets.
