NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Fans of 80's sitcoms and those four iconic gray-haired women are in for an immersive treat!
A new pop-up restaurant honoring "The Golden Girls" and its legacy is coming to midtown Manhattan's Skorpios starting next month.
The Golden Girls Kitchen, which was recently in Beverly Hills, is themed to resemble the Miami hangouts that Blanche, Rose, Dorothy, and Sophia frequented over the course of the show's seven seasons.
The fast-casual spot has a focus on desserts and will open at the 5 E. 54th St. venue on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Starting at $40 a person, a patron will get a 90-minute reservation as well as their choice of a "Golden Main" and a slice of—you guessed it—cheesecake! The restaurant's Rusty Anchor Bar also offers a selection of specialty cocktails and mocktails.
There will also be a shareable photo opportunity too, including a chance to snap a photo in Blanche’s Boudoir, complete with shag carpet and a palm print bedspread, or pretend to chat with the ladies on the girls' yellow kitchen phone.
Exclusive The Golden Girls Kitchen merchandise will be available on-site to purchase and take home.
