NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police continued to search Monday for the suspect in a deadly shooting at a Midtown subway station on Saturday afternoon.
The NYPD identified the victim Sunday as 26-year-old Darrel Rodriguez, of the Bronx.
Rodriguez was fatally shot shortly after 12 p.m. at the Seventh Avenue B/D/E station on West 53rd Street.
Police said he and the suspect were arguing on the E train platform when Rodriguez was shot in the chest. He died at a hospital.

The NYPD released images of the masked suspect they’re searching for in the brazen killing.
Meanwhile, Passengers United, a transit riders' advocacy group, is calling for more police patrols and a ban on balaclava and shiesty-style face coverings in the system.
Charlton D'Souza, the president of Passengers United, said the station has had safety problems for years, from poor lighting to drug use.
"Our elected officials, our city, everyone has failed us," D'Souza said.
One man who has worked nearby for years said he “was not that surprised” by the shooting.
"It's been happening here for years," he said.
