Police ID gunman in fatal Bronx shooting

New York (1010 WINS) — Police have identified the alleged gunman who fatally shot a man in the face across the street from a Bronx church late last month.

Jabal Gordon, 40, of Middletown, NY, allegedly opened fire on Keith Holden, 54, near the corner East Gun Hill Road and Fish Avenue — across from the Eastchester Presbyterian Church — early Friday morning, July 30, according to the NYPD.

Holden was struck in his face and and lying on his back when police arrived.

He was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday, Aug. 9, police said.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Gordon, soliciting tips to their Crime Stoppers hotline.
