NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are investigating the death of a woman found with with neck injuries in Brooklyn early Thursday, authorities said.
Just after 5 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a person in need of assistance inside 1608 80th St. in Bensonhurst.
Upon arrival, officers observed 50-year-old Svitlana Indelicato unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the neck.
EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
There have been no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
