NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police have released images of the suspects wanted in connection to the shooting of a 16-year-old girl in Brooklyn Friday.
The teen was playing with her friends near the Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr. Park on Wycoff street in Boreum Hill when she was struck in the head by a bullet around 3 p.m., police said.
The mother of the teen victim told ABC7 that her daughter is recovering from the injury after surgery at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
"This is hard - I've given birth, I can do that. This is the hardest thing I've done in my life," the mother, Nadine Sobers, told the station.
