WATCH: Police seek man seen firing gun into Queens apartment building

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man captured on video firing several shots into an apartment building in Queens early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred in the courtyard of a building on 91st Street and 35th Avenue in Jackson Heights, police said.


According to officials, the unidentified man entered the courtyard, produced a handgun, and fired two rounds.

One round struck the exterior of the building and the other round struck a third-floor apartment window and became lodged in the apartment ceiling, according to the NYPD.

A 20-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman, and a 25-year-old woman were present in the apartment at the time of the incident.

There were no injuries reported, officials said.

Officials released surveillance footage from the incident location on Monday night.
