NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police released a photo on Monday of a man who allegedly tried to rape a teenage girl inside of an apartment on the Upper West Side in February.
Police responded to a report on Feb. 14 at about 7 a.m. after an unidentified man approached a 15-year-old girl near a smoke shop and took her back to an apartment near West 63rd Street and 11th Avenue.
While inside, the suspect tried to rape the victim, police said.
The victim was not injured during the incident and did not require medical attention.
The man was described to have a beard and curly hair.
