NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD released a photo Friday night to aid their search for a man who slugged an MTA conductor as a train was exiting the station.
The victim, a 32-year-old male MTA conductor, was aboard a northbound 6 train that had begun to exit the station when the suspect slugged him in the face, police said.
This incident occurred at 10:20 p.m. on Thursday at the Third Avenue–138th Street station in Mott Haven, and the assailant fled the station in an unknown direction, according to the NYPD.
He was last seen wearing a black mask, dark blue jacket, dark colored pants and gray sneakers, police said.
The MTA conductor was treated by EMS for minor injuries on scene, officials said.
