Photos originally published by TMZ show the late Brooklyn rapper’s mausoleum tomb in Green-Wood Cemetary smashed, with shards scattered around the grounds.

TMZ reported that the vandals had attempted to access Pop Smoke’s casket, though it was unclear if they were successful.

Pop Smoke, legal name Bashar Barakah Jackson, was fatally shot at the age of 20 in a Los Angeles home-invasion robbery last year. Three men and two teen boys were arrested in connection with the killing last February.

Green-Wood spokesman Jeff Simmons confirmed the news to the New York Post and said an investigation is ongoing.

“An incident of vandalism took place on our grounds early Saturday," Simmons told the outlet. "We immediately notified the authorities and are in touch with the family. Given the ongoing investigation, we cannot comment further at this time.”
