NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD is searching for a man who they say broke into a Queens home this week before stealing cash and beating a man who confronted him.
Police released video of a suspect Saturday after Thursday's home invasion in Woodhaven.

Police said a man forced his way into a home at Jamaica Avenue and 88th Street by prying through a rear window around 9:40 a.m.
Once inside, the man stole $2,500 in cash from a bedroom, according to police.
When a 33-year-old man confronted him, he was punched and kicked by the home invader, who then fled, police said.
The victim suffered bruises and a laceration to his face. He was taken to an area hospital by EMS.
Police believe the suspect is about 50 years old.
