NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of three men on e-bikes sought in a string of necklace robberies in Manhattan that began last month.

The first incident occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, when a 64-year-old woman was approached from behind by two of the suspects who were on a motorized scooter at the corner of West 65th Street and West End Avenue, authorities said.


The suspects forcibly took a necklace from the victim's neck and pushed her to the ground then fled the location on a motorized scooter, traveling northbound on Amsterdam Avenue.

EMS transported the victim to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.

At approximately 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, a 25-year-old woman was approached by two of the suspects on an electric bicycle at the corner of 50th Street and 8th Avenue. The suspects snatched a necklace from the victim's neck, officials said.

The suspects fled the location on an electric bicycle, traveling southbound on 8th Avenue.

The third incident happened at approximately 7:36 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, when a 22-year-old woman was approached by two of the suspects who were on an electric bicycle at the corner of West 47th Street and 8th Avenue.

The suspects snatched a necklace from the victim's neck then fled the location on an electric bicycle, traveling southbound on 8th Avenue.

Police arrested one suspect and are still searching for three others.
