NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are after a criminal duo who shot two men, including a fleeing bystander, and robbed a third man at an East Harlem bodega last week.

The NYPD released images of the pair Wednesday in connection with the robbery last Monday afternoon.

The suspects walked into a bodega at East 123rd Street and Third Avenue around 4:40 p.m. and one of them immediately shot a 23-year-old man in the back, according to police.

The second suspect then put a gun to the stomach of a second man and stole his backpack, police said.

As a 43-year-old bystander was trying to escape the chaos, the second suspect shot him in the right leg, according to cops.

All three men were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.

The two suspects took off in a dark Honda, the NYPD said.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including if it was a targeted robbery, weren't immediately clear.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
