Robbery crew steals $12K in leggings from Upper East Side Lululemon

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating after a group of robbers entered a Manhattan Lululemon on Thursday afternoon and snatched $12,000 worth of leggings.

It happened at about 3 p.m. at the Upper East Side store located at 1127 Third Ave., near East 66th Street.

Police said that four men entered the athletic retailer and began stuffing leggings from store displays into large black bags.

The thieves took a total of 87 leggings, which police said amount to $12,000, before fleeing southbound. They are being sought for grand larceny.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
