NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man and woman robbery team threatened a 67-year-old woman in Brooklyn and forced her to take thousands out of her bank account before running off with the cash, the NYPD said. Police released a photo of one of the suspects on Sunday to aid their investigation.
On Dec. 2 at 11:38 a.m. the victim was standing at a bus stop at Dean Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope when she was approached and threatened by two strangers, officials said.
According to police, the 67-year-old, under duress, was led to a nearby bank where the duo withdrew $2,800 from the victim's bank account.
There were no injuries reported in relation to this incident.
The suspects were last seen fleeing southbound on Flatbush Avenue.
Police released a photo of the female suspect who was last seen clad in all black. There is no media depicting the male suspect.
