NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance video Friday as they search for two scooter-riding suspects accused of targeting women and snatching headphones straight off their heads in broad daylight in Brooklyn.
The two incidents occurred just minutes apart on Monday, June 15, authorities said.
The first theft took place at approximately 1:57 p.m. near Hancock Street and Bedford Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant when the suspects rode up on a scooter and pulled the headphones off a 39-year-old woman, according to police.
Just three minutes later, at approximately 2 p.m., the suspects ripped off the headphones of a 25-year-old woman near Brooklyn Avenue and Atlantic Avenue.
