Later tonight New York and New Jersey can enjoy a mainly clear evening with temperatures dipping to a comfortable low of 54.

On Thursday, expect a day with partly sunny skies. Highs reaching up to 69.
Mild temperatures continue on Friday accompanied by patches of sunlight. Highs for the day may reach around 65.
Towards Friday night rain is expected to make its way into the New York City region with between 50 and 55.
There will be periods of rain on Saturday with a cool breeze and noticeable drop in temperature. Highs are projected to be near 60. The heaviest rainfall is expected to start on Saturday into Sunday morning.

New Jersey can also expect to see periods of rain on the weekend.
While potential flooding is on the radar, current indications suggest it won't result in significant issues, according to AccuWeather analysts.
Ending the weekend, the weather will remain cool with highs in the upper 50s.
